With well over 200 portal projects and more than 250 customers, btexx has built up comprehensive expertise in the design and implementation of employee portals.
btexx implemented a range of innovative intranet solutions in the first half of 2010, including a new intranet for personnel services firm Randstad and an employee portal for Swiss accident insurance provider Suva.
The theme of the marcus evans symposium “Employee portals 2010”, sponsored by btexx, is “Portals 2010: Now everyone can join in!” btexx will present modern social business portal concepts with a lecture and an exhibition with live demos.
Portals should offer modern knowledge workers a working environment specifically tailored to their needs. Until now, enterprise portals have served as the central platform for communication and providing access to processes (HR processes etc.). Internal communication within companies has changed for good: Enterprise 2.0 portals promote and improve collaboration between teams and project members.
Markus Marenbach’s presentation focuses on what new social business platforms (SBS) can contribute to the creation of modern workplaces with technologies such as forums, wikis and microblogs using Workplace 2.0 concepts as an example of a business community.
marcus evans conceptualizes and coordinates over 1,000 high level business-to-business conferences every year, custom tailored to meet the information needs of executives and managers.
The speakers are experts from large, international companies and financial institutions, as well as business universities, academic institutions and government. Over 100,000 visitors and 16,000 speakers attend marcus evans conferences every year.
