Stadtwerke Kaiserlautern (public utilities) implements Web site relaunch

The fusion of the technical utilities and the gas works of Kaiserslautern in 2009 was the starting point for a comprehensive rebranding process: Both companies merged under the new name and brand “Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern”; the visual appearance is being harmonized. The new Web site runs on the SAP NetWeaver Portal technical platform, while “btexx easyWCM” – the leading Content Management System for enterprise portals with SAP – ensures simple editorial work as part of the maintenance process.

Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern (SWK) is a regional provider for utility and transportation companies. The company's portfolio comprises water and power supply and local passenger transportation services in the Kaiserslautern region. 2011 marked the beginning of the complete relaunch of the company's own Web site. The Web site of the IT subsidiary “Demando” was just recently implemented and runs on the same technical platform as SWK's site.
