btexx Portal Days 2011 – Customers impressed by the regional orientation of the event series

In September btexx invited portal masters and communications experts to come to Cologne, Munich and Mainz for “btexx Portal Days 2011”. With these half-day events btexx continued the successful gathering of the same name held in 2009, the “btexx Portal Day”. The feedback from participants was once again very positive.

The title of this year's “btexx Portal Days” was “Portal Strategies 2012: From Enterprise Portal to Social Portal”, and the main theme of the event series was working conditions of the future. Experts from various scientific and business fields discussed the use of Web 2.0 technologies in enterprise portals.

A special highlight was the presentation titled “Portal Strategies 2012. Modernize, Rebuild or Tear Down”. btexx experts used various examples to explain why Web 2.0 technologies are of value to companies, showing the steps necessary to redesign and implement enterprise portals. Participants were given guidelines to evaluate their own enterprise portals and ideas for revamping and redesigning them.

Due to the lively participation and very positive feedback btexx will continue the event series again in 2012, covering all topics related to social portals and social collaboration.
