SAP certifies btexx universalSearch software

Unlimited Creative License for the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search 7.2 User Interface

btexx is announcing SAP's certification of its “btexx universalSearch” software. After successfully completing testing, the product will bear the SAP trademark “SAP Certified – Integration with SAP NetWeaver”.

“The certification of our btexx universalSearch software makes us the first SAP partner and software manufacturer to offer an add-on solution for SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search 7.2,” says Stefan Bohlmann, managing director of btexx. “Our customers benefit from an attractive interface design and optimized usability – a practical addition to searches in the SAP NetWeaver Portal.”

btexx universalSearch is delivered with search interfaces that customers can begin using immediately and are based on best practices from over 250 successful portal projects. The user interface design can be varied according to companies' individual corporate design guidelines. Ready-made elements are available for design: faceted navigation, a variety of filter options, pagers, a type-ahead entry field, a tab manager and other templates.

This design element tool set can be used to map any number of different search scenarios. For example the product comparison user interface must have a completely different design than the search interface for employee data. btexx universalSearch makes it possible to provide as many user interfaces as desired.

Following successful certification, SAP added btexx universalSearch to its SAP EcoHub-System. Product information, brochures and presentations are available in the block products.
