BHW is one of the largest financial service providers in Germany. The company has experts on site at its customer and cooperation partner locations throughout Germany. btexx implemented a document management system for BHW based on the SAP NetWeaver Portal that supports all internal and external BHW employees in their work.
The project portal was constructed to manage well over 5,000 projects from the bank's various international locations. The final budget can now be determined from the rough project concept to refined project planning at the cost center level.
The coordination process is facilitated by a workflow component; the link to the SAP R/3 system covers the entire life cycle from product idea generation right through to the project order.
The executive portal for the city of Essen makes information relevant for planning and controlling available with the click of a mouse using a uniform, consolidated database. Management executives can access current financial and structural data quickly and conveniently.
As a central element of e-government, the portal offers a reliable basis for better and sounder decisions. Further highlights: Single sign-on authentication, easy access to SAP transactions and the integration of familiar Office applications such as MS Excel or MS Outlook were implemented with SAP NetWeaver. btexx developed an enterprise portal featuring a “Trader's Workplace” within the scope of a portal project for RAG AG - a company that is currently part of the Evonik Group. btexx provided a portal infrastructure for RAG that is available for use by over 15,000 employees for managing their daily tasks.
The “Trader's Workplace” simplifies traders' tasks and maps them to an individual workplace scenario. With the help of iViews (proposal tracking, customer evaluation and access to information on the Internet), relevant information and systems are consolidated for use by the traders.
btexx designed and implemented an individual customer portal for internationally active automotive supplier GKN. The portal is used to create and track SD orders via the Internet. The result is a Java-based proprietary solution featuring user and authorization management functionality.
The SAP NetWeaver Portal will be beautiful and fast! That was the goal of the “Haniel Group Net” project, the employee portal for the Haniel Group. The result is impressive: Innovative design, efficient usability and optimized performance were implemented on the basis of the SAP NetWeaver Portal.

The new Haniel Corporate Website has been live since the beginning of April 2009. The group is presenting itself in a much more modern and informative way than before. This is achieved by a straightforward design with multimedia elements such as pictures, movie clips and animated graphics. HUGO BOSS is a major player in international women's and men's fashion with over 5,000 retail stores in more than 100 countries. HUGO BOSS uses integrated IT systems to support business-to-business activities with trading partners.

Karstadt Quelle is the largest combined mail-order and department store company in Europe. A considerable share of its turn-over is handled by decentralised agencies. These agencies, amounting to a four digit number in total, are scheduled to process all orders via a portal based on the SAP EP 6.0 in order to increase the efficiency of their business processes.
The agencies have access to further back-end systems via the portal using a single sign-on mechanism with user mapping. Taking care of such data manually, would require a great deal of administration, which is why btexx extended the SAP EP 6.0 instead with a batch upload feature. That way, bulk data can be uploaded from files into the portal where it is then automatically filed in the user administration.
The Metro Group operates an employee portal based on SAP EP 5.0. Employees are already using numerous productive applications on this platform. In a call for tenders for a successor to the EP 5.0 platform, a new portal was created on the basis of SAP EP 6.0.
btexx worked closely with the Metro Group to successfully migrate the company's wide range of custom software packages to the new platform.
With an average of 66,000 employees and 600 branch offices in over 300 cities (as of 2008), Randstad is the leading personnel services firm in Germany. Randstad entrusted btexx with the design and implementation of its “YOU2” employee portal.

A proof of concept was conducted to analyze the technical integration capabilities of the SAP BW system in the Ruhrgas SAP Portal landscape and a prototype installation was performed taking the customer's special requirements into account.
SAL Oppenheim handles portfolio and property management for real estate and manages over 500 properties worldwide with a total value of 10 billion euros. The goal of the portal project with btexx was to create a system for entering order data on construction, maintenance and renovation services.
Property and facility managers can rapidly enter information on the individual properties via a portal and integrate them in the existing workflows. An existing Microsoft SharePoint portal containing over 10 GB of data in over 15,000 files was migrated to the SAP EP 6.0 content management system. The objective was to save as much of the existing data and metadata in the SharePoint portal as possible and keep the same structure.
SAP operates a number of web-based internal applications, around 30 of which are employee portals. Some of these applications are proprietary developments that were implemented in part based on Microsoft.NET.
SAP pursued a global consolidation strategy within the framework of its EP6@SAP project. Its goal was to harmonize the majority of the applications scattered throughout the company in an Enterprise Portal 6.0 using a common infrastructure. Due to its expertise in the field of portal technologies and specialization in portal implementation projects, btexx is providing its support for this project. In multiple phases SAP's lines of business (LOB) will implement their business processes in the enterprise portal consecutively, one country at a time.

Wacker Chemie AG used SAP NetWeaver to achieve consistent, integrated communications processes with customers. As a globally operating chemicals group, the company manufactures chemical products for the semiconductor industry along with coatings and fillers for printing inks and adhesives.
btexx supported the customer portal construction project. Over 150 customers are integrated in the portal with their own extranet; each customer has multiple registered users. Wacker Chemie deployed btexx easyWCM as its content management system in the portal. Editorial content in the portal can be created, managed and published directly within the existing navigational structure.

The ZF Group transitioned its time management systems to SAP in order to optimize its internal HR processes. Proprietary iView applications were written to help visualize the HR processes. This made it possible to adapt the SAP ESS standard to the ZF Group's individual requirements.
